We warily got out of the bus after a solid 30 hours.......it wasn't as bad as youd think, but there is only so much you can take......I watched all 3 John Wick films.....in Spanish....Stopping off every now and then for food or being supplied with snacks (my go to with an English traveler was to drink lots of beer in those stops and sleep it off for a couple of hours, rinse and repeat!).

Our hostel was pretty vibrant and in a good location so we had fun wandering around the city eating pretty good food (A ramen shop was hit up a number of times!). We got a few bits from the shops (a new hat for me as was going to wear through my first hat and socks for Sarah after more than half went missing from the wash in Banos!) and from the walking and hauling of bags we realised my shoulder wasn't in the best shape and most likely tore something in the amazon (hence a sling making its appearance in a few of those pics! Don't worry we are all good now). We went to some of the local markets and picked up some Alpaca swag (Sarah got a fleece I got a Poncho, have yet to wear it in public!). We met up with Sarah from our Amazon trip and she introduced us to Pisco Sours (which was going to be a running theme throughout Peru, Bolivia and even to here in Chile!).

We packed our bags and prepared to get on our first Peru Hop Bus (At this point I was moaning about the price of it but for 3 weeks I did not have to even think about When / How to get a bus which was great!)
