We got a short 2 hour flight over to Delhi from Kathmandu, the passport control here was particularly bad and the agents very surley. We eventually got out to the most impatient taxi driver who was not impressed with our delay and was very insistent on a tip for waiting for us.......great start ...... we rocked up to our hostel which was down an alley of a very busy market street, at this point I was convinced where we were going to get robbed but no our hostel really was there right beside a corner which apparently is just the local urinal (the place reaked). Sarah was already hit with Delhi Belly from breaking our no meat rule and eating chicken in Kathmandu as a reward for finishing the hike. We did not venture from the hostel besides from me going to get some Naam bread!

The next day we went out with a local guide to do some sight seeing of Old and New Delhi, which ended up not being too much because they had closed most monuments ahead of a celebration.......in 2 and a half weeks....... We seen some sights such as india gate, the local spice markets and several temples and places of worship. Ending our tour we decided navigating our way around the golden triangle ourselves may be no small feat we opted to take our hostels advice and book a driver for the 4 days we had to travel around india. So the next day we would depart with our Driver and see the other 2 corners of the triangle!
